[new] Beirut - "East Harlem"

Beirut has graced us with a new track. "East Harlem" is the title track off a new 7" via frontman Zach Condon's own Pompeii label that will be available at all of their live shows (including their stop in NOLA on Friday 6/10 at Republic). The song continues to pave the way of Beirut's worldly, horn-laden, gypsy folk aesthetic. Check it out below:

p.s. what's with this new mini-fad of putting cute dogs on indie album covers? For the record, I dig it.

[new] Young & Sick - S.E.X.X.X.

It has been a while. I've been on the road for the last two weeks, but just finally made it to LA. Life has been hectic trying to find a place and settle down, but things finally seem to be working out. The launch of the new art/official has been postponed a few weeks due to the craziness of summer plans, but be sure when the launch happens it will be EPIC!

I come back from my hiatus with this for you all. Sexy baby making beats complete with heavy bass for your ears. Not much is known about this new artist, but Young & Sick is sure to make a lot of noise in the coming months. Enjoy.

Lots of love,

[video] Yellow Ostrich - "W H A L E"

New York's charming, less-is-more trio Yellow Ostrich has put their song "WHALE" in a PSA for IMAlive.org, an online crisis network helping those with depression. I'm not sure if this will act as the official video or not, but the band's minimalist, percussive indie folk works well here. Check it out below:
